The Meadow Pitches
The Meadow Pitches sit in a sheltered one acre corner of six and half acres of meadow and pasture …and did we mention the view? The Meadow Pitches
As you walk up through the orchard towards the meadow there is little to prepare you for the breath-taking panorama of the Marshwood Vale that the meadow enjoys.
The four pitches each sit within in a generous quarter of an acre of a further six acre pasture field. There is a feeling of space and solitude, with amazing sunsets to view from the West. Well away from main roads and as a car-free area the field is a safe and secure place for children to become free-range. Each pitch has its own picnic bench and rocket stove. There is a communal Field Shelter, providing a little shaded cover when necessary, from either sunshine or rain and in the centre a communal fire pit, perfect for toasting marshmallows, under the stars, with new found friends.
