The Barn

Moments away from your pitch our fully equipped facilities barn sets us apart and makes your camping trip hassle free

The Barn

A minute stroll through the orchard takes you to the Barn where the shower rooms, toilets, kitchen areas and ‘Rainy Day Room’ are located.

The original kitchen houses a small fridge freezer, electric hob, a small electric oven, a microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a large kitchen cupboard for storing food and several power points for charging phones etc. There is also a stove top smoker, great for cooking your catch from the local mackerel fishing trips. You will find a constant supply of hot water for washing up, as well as basic provisions such as salt and pepper, olive oil, sugar, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. A covered eating area with a large communal table is especially popular with groups as a perfect place to breakfast together.

Step through the door in the kitchen to discover an unexpected delight – a large, attractive room, comfortably furnished with sofas, dining tables and even a small writing bureau stocked with Old Bidlake Postcards. There are shelves of guidebooks, maps and tourist information to help you plan your holiday adventures. Whilst we always keep our fingers crossed for fine weather for our guests it is a perfect rainy day room with plenty of games, books and craft activities to keep the children entertained.

The lean-to area of the Barn now provides a second kitchen area. There are two fridge freezers located here which allow for an individual shelf per pitch and freezers pre-stocked with ice packs for coolboxes. There is also a large washing up sink and handbasin, the rubbish and recycling area and covered storage area for bikes.

The two private washrooms each have a flush toilet, hand basin and electric shower. There are two further flush toilets, and there is also a baby bath available for little ones who prefer to make a splash.
