The Barn and Facilities

A minute stroll through the orchard takes you to the Barn where the shower rooms, toilets, kitchen areas and ‘Rainy Day Room’ are located.

Main Kitchen

The kitchen houses:

• a small fridge 
• induction hob
• a small electric oven
• a microwave
• kettle and toaster.
• pots and pans for the induction hob and rocket stoves 
• plates, bowls, mugs and cutlery

The kitchen is here to make your stay as hassle free as possible with all the essentials you need to cook a meal for the family. You will find a constant supply of hot water for washing up, as well as basic provisions such as salt and pepper,, sugar, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. A covered eating area with a large communal table is especially popular with groups as a perfect place to breakfast together.

Campers lounge

Step through the door in the kitchen to discover an unexpected delight – a large room, comfortably furnished with sofas, and dining table. There are shelves of guidebooks, maps and tourist information to help you plan your holiday adventures. there is also a nature corner to encourage the children to become budding ecologists. Whilst we always keep our fingers crossed for fine weather for our guests it is a perfect rainy day room with plenty of games, books and even a cinama screen to keep the children entertained.

Second Kitchen

The lean-to area of the Barn provides a second kitchen area. There is a large fridge freezer located here with an individual drawer per pitch and the freezer is pre-stocked with ice packs for cool-boxes. There is also a large washing up sink for the BBQ and the pans from the rocket stove and also a handbasin, the rubbish and recycling area and covered storage area for bikes is also here.

Toilets and Showers

The two private washrooms each have a flush toilet, hand basin and  showers with plenty of hot water. There are two further flush toilets, and there is also a baby bath available for little ones who prefer to make a splash.
