A much-loved part of the Old Bidlake story for the past 15 years, our early 80s caravan has been thoughtfully refurbished for 2026. She’s had a fresh coat of paint, a new layout, and even a new name. With reference the plethora of birdlife that thrives in our hedgerow and the original blue strip she has, we have called her Blue Tit.

Inside, we’ve reconfigured the space by removing the kitchen, shower and toilet, creating a light, open interior that’s all about comfort and simplicity. There’s a generous double bed made up of two 3ft sprung mattresses side by side for a wonderfully comfy night’s sleep, plus a bench seat that converts into a child’s bed. A fold-down table and the original cupboards provide plenty of storage, and of course there’s a kettle ready for that all-important morning cuppa.

You even have plenty of space to pitch a tent for the kids included in the price.

A cosy, characterful place to rest after a day exploring the beaches of West Dorset.
