How to Find Us
We are approximately three hours drive from London and Birmingham (yes that’s right, so much closer than Cornwall!)
If driving
We are approximately five minutes drive from Bridport and the A35. Drive through the town centre past the Town Hall and Waitrose on your left, across the first mini roundabout and on to the second. At the second mini-roundabout turn right onto the B3162 signed Salwayash. At Dottery crossroads (after about 1.5 miles) turn left to Broadoak and Marshwood. Continue along this road for 0.9 of a mile and as you come down a hill and the road widens, you will see two oak trees forming an arch over the road and two telegraph poles on the right. Turn right on to the track between the poles (there is also a sign saying Old Bidlake Farm) and we are at the end of the track. If you miss the turn off and find yourself at Broadoak village you have gone too far!
Please call us if you have difficulty finding us.
If cycling
We are located directly on the National Cycle Network 2 and the Tour de Manche. If travelling to the West Country by train you can dismount at Axminster and follow Route 2 to the campsite.
If travelling by public transport:
Our nearest train station is ten miles away at Crewkerne and Dorchester South is fifteen miles, both with frequent services to London Waterloo (two and half hours). Buses and coaches will take you to Bridport Coach Station, just a five minute taxi ride away.
