A much-loved part of the Old Bidlake story for the past 15 years, our late 70’s caravan has been thoughtfully refurbished for 2026. She’s had a fresh coat of paint, a new layout, and even a new name. With reference the plethora of birdlife that thrives in our hedgerow and the original blue strip she has, we have called her Blue Tit.
Inside, we’ve reconfigured the space, as you are just a short distance from the barn and its facilities we removed the kitchen, shower and toilet, creating a light, open interior that’s all about comfort and simplicity and dare we say cuteness. There’s a generous double bed made up of two 3ft sprung mattresses side by side for a wonderfully comfy night’s sleep, plus a bench seat and fold down table. The original cupboards provide plenty of storage, and for the chillier nights there is an electric heater for instant warmth.
You even have plenty of space to pitch a tent for the kids included in the price.
A cosy, characterful place to rest after a day exploring the beaches of West Dorset.
The cost to hire Blue tit is £100 per night with a minimum of 2 nights.
